How to say 'Hello!' in different languages?

Ukranian - dobriy ranok (formal; morning), dobriy den (formal; afternoon), dobriy vechir (formal; evening), pryvit (informal).

Russian - Privet! pronounced as pree-vyet (informal), zdravstvuyte (formal; pronounced ZDRA-stvooy-tyeh).

Polish - dzień dobry (formal), witaj (hello) cześć (hi, pronounced, "cheshch")

Latvian - labdien, sveiki, chau (informal; pronounced chow).

  3. LOL okay let's see... As mimo said hibin spanishbis hola, in French it is bonjour for the morning, in chineese its konichiwa, in Italian its ciao, in german its hallo, in portugese I think its oi, and in Dutch its hallo. Ok thats all I noe off the top of my head!!

    Swedish - tja (very informal; pronounced sha), hej (informal; pronounced hey), god dag (formal)

    Indonesian - halo (hello), selamat pagi (morning), selamat siang (afternoon), selamat malam (evening)

  6. romanian : buna or salut ( im not sure how to make it easy for u guys to say " buna" witch means hello but "salut" soulds the same as in french i think. weren`t french ppl the ones who say salut instead of hi?
